Default Optimal mono hull for 31cc ?

This is an awesome site/forum! Super informative yet simple... i like

I recently acquired a lightly used Ryobi 31cc... Is there a boat plan that performs best for this perticular engine? A few that have caught my eye are the wildthing, cracker box, and easy vee.

Most rc boats using an engine this size seem to be running 46"-48" in length. Can I go smaller, for example 40" or 36" without it sinking or handling poorly?

Default 31cc ryobi

i have an easy vee with a homelite conversion engine that i built for my wife. we both love this boat and we have a very good time running it at the river. i think the wildthing would be better if you want to race but our easy vee is the most trouble free boat that we run.

I will try the trouble free easy vee, anyone happen to have specs or build sheet? I know its cheap online, but I would like to build from scratch
