Default please help

hello people,,hey i have a boat with a 40 ops engine,when you leave any fuel in the tank it leakes out of the header port,and i mean all of it,plus i am having trouble starting it,any help will help me thank you , bye rick

yes when i fill it up ,then go away for about 3 to 6 minutes it well leak out maybe alittle longer.lt wont start,,the motor has good compression, thanks for helping

is the fuel tank higher than the engine? If so there's nothing to stop the fuel from running out. Doug
