Just another Newbie!!!

Hello everyone. Just thought I'd jump in here and say hi. I'm not really a newbie newbie. I have experience building large gas powered planes and most recently have been flying electric helicopters. Now that I've reached my Golden Years I'd like to build boats. I want a mono boat that's easy to build. I will be using it in a River and also would like to get into some of the races. So witch first boat: Prowler, Wild thing, or a cracker box? I see the downloads have great plans and pictures but what bothers me is no asy. instructions. Would I be better off getting a zippkits boat??? So thanks for the help and I hope to be talking to you all here in the future.
